
In addition to taking challenging courses, participating in various academic and athletic clubs, and completing an internship experience, I am proud to share that I’ve maintained high grades and participation in Western Michigan’s Lambda Pi Eta Communications Honor Society.

It’s an incredible feeling to be recognized for my hard work and dedication within the communications department. I’m grateful for the opportunities to grow both academically and professionally, and I’m excited to continue pushing forward in this field. A huge thank you to my professors, peers, and everyone who has supported me along the way!

Ski and Snowboard Club
As active member and social media manager for WMU Ski and Snowboard Club, I’ve taken the responsibility of managing our social media presence through Instagram. On the far left is our profile, followed by our posts before I took this role, and on the far right is the content that I’ve created for this page.
Objective:
My objective in this role was to raise engagement with our audience in order to raise awareness about our organization.
With the goal of bringing more students into our club, we shared authentic, well photographed content while aiming to appeal aesthetically to students.
Outcome:
This experience brought me to the realization that captivating an audience roots from the content we share. On the left, our content is plain, and the photos are poor quality. I focused on high quality content, and made each post feel thoughtful, intentional, and of high quality.

Sales & Speed Selling
As a strong communicator, I challenged myself by taking a sales course and stepping outside my comfort zone. Throughout the semester, I acted as a Penske Truck Rental salesperson, earning multiple certificates in speed selling, role play, and my final pitch. I achieved top seller for several assignments and discovered a true passion for sales.
Objective:
My objective in this course was to build confidence in persuasive communication and apply strong presentation skills in real sales scenarios. I aimed to engage customers, clearly communicate the value of Penske Truck Rentals, and adapt my approach based on feedback and performance.
Outcome:
Through consistent effort and practice, I earned top seller for multiple assignments, including speed selling, role play, and my final pitch. More importantly, I gained confidence in selling, learned how to connect with people quickly, and realized that I truly enjoy the challenge and creativity that comes with sales.

Digital Marketing
While taking a Digital Marketing course at Western Michigan University as part of my marketing minor, I worked in a group to create and manage a social media page called Bronco Bucket List using Meta Business Suite.
Objective:
Increase awareness of campus opportunities and student involvement by creating engaging social media content that encouraged WMU students to participate in events, organizations, and activities before graduation. We posted seven times per week across Facebook and Instagram and tracked performance metrics to guide our content strategy.
Outcome:
We found that graphic-based posts had lower engagement, while posts featuring real photos, people, and strong calls to action performed significantly better. After shifting our strategy to focus more on original photo content, we increased engagement and grew our following by about 40%, helping us stay on track toward our goal of reaching 1,000 followers by the end of the semester.

Advertising & Marketing
While taking a Digital Marketing course at Western Michigan University as part of my marketing minor, I worked in a group to create and manage a social media page called Bronco Bucket List using Meta Business Suite.
Objective:
Increase brand awareness and educate customers on how easy it is to grow uniquely shaped produce and make healthy eating fun with Harvest Hero. Research and define my target audience, define my product and create a storyboard and Instagram content.
Outcome:
I developed a full campaign targeting eco-creative parents aged 32-36. Using AI to bring my creative visions to life, I created a product visual, web banner, Instagram reel and posts, and defined why this campaign will work. You can see this work below!
